Traditional cone crusher lines often require long manual adjustments to the discharge setting, lack quick pressure relief when tramp metal enters, require heavy maintenance, and offer limited automation. For plants already in production, most customers want to upgrade without major changes to the existing foundations.
The cone crusher is designed for these existing lines. Hydraulic control replaces the old mechanical adjustment. With hydraulic discharge setting, overload protection, automatic monitoring, and an optimized crushing chamber, the machine reduces manual work, lowers the risk of sudden stoppages, keeps product size more consistent, and extends continuous running time.

Symons Cone Crusher is a design-based improvement, and it allows the use of the same support elements as traditional spring cone crushers. This makes changing over to more modern equipment possible with less civil work.
A hydraulic system enables the operator to alter quickly the discharge setting by hand according to production requirements. The fact that there is not much need to do adjustment manually will allow a more steady size of the material crushed.
If a hard-to-crush item accidentally gets into the crushing chamber, this hydraulic system will quickly increase the pressure so that the crushing chamber’s door opens wider and allows the foreign item to go in and thereby protecting the equipment from being damaged.
Chambers in different sizes, standard and short-head, are also offered to suit different crushing levels from coarse to super fine.
